Loc Performance Products was founded in Taylor, Michigan in 1971 by Victor Vojcek to meet the needs of an expanding
domestic manufacturing industry. Loc’s first home was a 5,000 square foot facility, manufacturing machined components for
automotive powertrains, including providing comprehensive solutions for demanding drag race teams, both factory and

expansion. From 1977 to 1996, Loc grew in multiple phases – both in physical size and customer base, relocating to
Plymouth, MI and expanding its manufacturing footprint to 125,000 square feet. Loc began serving the defense industry in
1985 and quickly became the preferred supplier for tracked vehicle suspension systems. In 1990, Loc became the first small
business awarded a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract for M-1 Abrams Final Drives.
Today, Loc Performance Products, Inc. (Loc) is the Best Value full service provider of driveline, suspension, and track systems for military tracked vehicles. Loc is saving the Army hundreds of millions of dollars as the prime contractor for upgrading the Bradley Fighting Vehicle suspension and track systems as part of the platform’s ECP1 modernization program. Loc has successfully performed on over 1,025 direct contracts with the United States Government by providing excellent quality on time at competitive prices.
Loc creates Best Value for its customers through its core competitive capabilities in manufacturing, supply chain management, packaging and kitting, product development, and product testing. Loc has over 265,000 square feet of manufacturing space to control critical manufacturing processes in-house such as CNC machining, heat treatment, gear manufacturing, CARC painting, welding, and assembly. Loc is 3rd party registered to ISO 9001:2008, ISO/TS16949:2009, and AS9100:2009 Rev. C specifications. Loc successfully manages over 400 suppliers in direct support of the products manufactured and delivered by its plant in Plymouth, Michigan. Loc utilizes its expertise in manufacturing and supply chain management to package and provide production kits that enable efficient assembly operations by Loc’s Bradley vehicle field team and overall customer base. Loc’s Product Development department allows Loc to offer its customers full service support on the complex mechanical systems it manufactures by helping customers sustain existing products and launch new products from a set of customer requirements. The last core competitive capability, product testing, is performed in-house to provide Loc’s customers cost effective and timely execution for maturing product designs towards full rate production readiness.
